JUSTICE (R) SHAHID JAMIL KHAN
Managing Partner
Mr. Shahid Jamil Khan was enrolled as an Advocate of High Court in the year 1994 and became an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in
the year 2007. He was elevated as a judge of the Honourable Lahore High Court in 2014 and resigned from judiciary in 2024 to return back to practice.
During his legal practice, he handled numerous cases, and his areas of special interest were the Tax law, Corporate Law, Banking Law, Commercial Litigation and Legal Advice. He also worked as Legal Advisor at Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Islamabad for about seven years. He was reckoned as an authority in the field of Tax Law and Corporate Law. He also assisted the Superior Courts of the country in the interpretation of different laws and settling principles of jurisprudence.
During his career as a Judge, he has rendered judgments on number of important issues. In such a short span of time of his judicial career he decided 27,401 cases and delivered 128 reported judgments in the areas of Tax Law, Corporate Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Family Law and Arbitration Law.
SHAHMEER UBEID
Partner
Mr. Shahmeer Ubeid completed his B.A. (Hons) from the University of Toronto and thereafter went on to pursue his LLB (Hons) from the University of Stirling, United Kingdom.
In the year 2016, Mr. Ubeid moved to Pakistan and joined a well-reputed law firm with primary focus on Corporate Finance and Commercial Disputes for companies and individuals including those arising from breach of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, misrepresentation, fraud and professional negligence.
Mr. Ubeid’s main areas of practice include Corporate and Commercial Law, Financial Regulatory Advisory and Compliance, Intellectual Property and Civil Law. Mr. Ubeid has also been engaged for corporate due diligence along with mergers and acquisitions by multiple national and multinational companies. Some prominent transactions include acquisition of a hotel in Pakistan by an International Hotel Group; Steered the organizational restructuring of a Georgian Microfinance Institution, overseeing
a USD 20M+ transformation into a fully regulated commercial financial institution; incorporation, due diligence and setting up of a US $100 Million Dollars fertiliser plant in Pakistan, amongst many others.
BARRISTER SARIM SHAHID

Mr. Sarim Shahid completed his LLB (Honours) from the University of London and thereafter proceeded to undertake his Bar Professional
Training Court (BPTC) from the renowned Cardiff University (Lincoln’s Inn).
He started his professional career at UHY & Co, a UK based chartered accountancy firm. Subsequently, he joined a well reputed law firm in Pakistan and has worked extensively on civil cases, real estate law, intellectual property matters, and constitutional matters.
Barrister Sarim has been engaged in several high profile cases, which inter alia include, Private Educational Institutions fee matters, Intellectual property related matters for well-konwn pharmaceutical companies and the Pakistan’s Cricket Board (PCB), amongst others.
TEHREEM FATIMA SHAHID

Tehreem Fatima Shahid is a litigation and advisory lawyer with a focus on regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, and arbitration. With a background in both contentious and advisory work,
she brings experience in cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, and representing clients in high-value disputes before arbitral tribunals and public bodies. Currently a Partner at SJ Khan & Partners, she advises clients ranging from startups to state-owned
enterprises, particularly on matters involving international regulation, data protection, and contractual risk. Her legal practice is complemented by a strong academic foundation and a robust publication record on topics including defamation law, commercial speech, and judgment enforcement in Pakistan.
